To encourage young riders to enter competitions outside our district, WMTB Club has initiated a support fund, now in its second year.
The fund is open to riders within our club, aged under 18, who want to race competitively.
Support (by written application) could include financial support for travel, accommodation and race fees, to compete in inter-school or open competitions at the NI and National level. Any applications will however be considered.
If you think you might be eligible, then send us an email at whanganuimtbc@gmail.com with details of the specific race for which you would like financial assistance plus details of anticipated costs. If successful, you will need to write a report after participation at the event.
As there is limited funding, the earlier one’s application, the better one’s chance of success.
