This week new squeeze bars were installed at the back of the Pauri area of the Araheke MTB tracks. A big thank you to all those who made this happen – a first for Whanganui! Thank you to Haig Elgar who made them, to Derek Johnson for installing them with a bit of help from Dave Benefield and Frank Rawlinson. The spirit levels were exact and all measurements correct to a mm with shifting sand, dodgy hidden phone cables and lots of cursing but we got there! Enjoy – no more lifting of bikes over the gate! Yay!!
