The new Manawatu Tararua Cycleway officially opened Wednesday 11 June 2025 and is a 11.5km trip to Woodville making for a 23Km return trip. Both Analogue and ebikes are suitable but a bit of fitness is required as the gradient on the western side is around 10% and a mere 8.5% on he eastern side. Bring warm clothing in case an easterly wind develops.
