The tracks in Hyltons Pit are still running sweet and will hopefully dry out again so the club will continue to meet on Thursday evenings at the Brunswick entrance at 6pm for a 10-15km circuit of all the tracks, ending up with a whizz down the fun flow trail Bikeshed Shredder. A good opportunity to meet other club members and enjoy a bit of conviviality with an optional drink afterwards at the local Boatshed.

Daylight Saving ends on Sunday 5 April so will mean that lights will be needed from Thursday 9 April. A light on one’s helmet provides better support for single track riding rather than on the handlebars. Make sure that you have enough battery charge for an hour and a quarter of riding at a brightness with which you are comfortable.

Night riding gives a whole new dimension to mountain biking and is lots of fun. Give it a go and you might become a convert!
