Notice of the Annual General Meeting — Whanganui Mountain Bike Club Inc.
When: Wednesday 17 June, 7pm Where: Aramoho Rowing Club, 198 Somme Parade, Aramoho, Whanganui
The AGM is a great chance to catch up with the committee and fellow club members. Light refreshments will be served at the conclusion of the meeting.
Our guest speaker this year is Sam Blenkinsop. Sam is a local born-and-raised downhill mountain biker who has raced professionally for more than 20 years, picking up countless national and international awards.
Nominations
If you’ve ever thought about getting more involved with the club, or know someone who’d be great on the committee, this is your chance to put a name forward — we’d love to hear from you. Fresh ideas and new energy are always welcome, and all nominations simply need a seconder.
To nominate before the AGM, please email the club at whanganuimtbc@gmail.com with:
- The nominee’s name
- Your name (the nominator)
- The seconder’s name
You must speak to the person first and get their agreement before submitting their name.
Nominations may also be handed in at the start of the meeting, and the Chair may call for further nominations from the floor.
Only full financial members are eligible to stand for election and to vote.
