SUMMARY:Thursday Night Club Rides – Araheke mtb park/Harakeke – meet at Lake Wiritoa Reserve 6pm
DESCRIPTION:In the winter months we alternate our Thursday club rides between Araheke mtb park/Harakeke forest and urban trails. The club has a list of ‘leaders’ who when present on any ride would be prepared to lead that particular ride. All our rides are more-or-less 13km-15km in length and take between 1.25 – 1.45 hours in total with short stops. Urban rides tend to be shorter than the Harakeke rides. Good helmet mounted lights are essential for winter riding. \nSeptember 10 – Araheke mtb park/Harakeke – meet at Wiritoa Rec Reserve\nSeptember 17 – meet iSite\nSeptember 24 – Araheke mtb park/Harakeke – meet at Wiritoa Rec Reserve \nWe have a Whatsapp group for people who regularly ride on a Thursday evening. If you would like to join it\, please let us know so we can put you on it. It is only a means of communication for those who wish to make sure that there will be others on that particular ride\, especially if the weather is looking dicey. If it is raining\, then it is unlikely that a group ride will go ahead. \nE-bikes are always welcome but please note that the rides cater for analogue biking (unless specifically stated) and the pace is set accordingly. The group may be split if there is a big discrepancy in abilities. \nPlease note these rides on your calendar. \nHope to see you out there.

DESCRIPTION:The next Gravel Ride will be held in conjunction with the Whanganui Cycling Club on Sunday 22 November. From Top 10 Holiday Park to Brunswick hall via Papaiti – Kauarapaoa – Rangitatau East – Brunswick Rd finishing with a BBQ at Brunswick Hall. There will be 2 start groups – one for social riders and the other for experienced riders\, with e-bikers able to join either group. For timing however\, there will be 3 leaderboards (the 3rd for e-bikers). \nFurther details to follow
