SUMMARY:Thursday 6pm club ride – Harakeke forest meet Lake Wiritoa domain car park
DESCRIPTION:In the winter months we alternate our Thursday club rides between Araheke mtb park/Harakeke forest and urban trails.  The club has a list of ‘leaders’ who when present on any ride would be prepared to lead that particular ride.  All our rides are more-or-less 13km-15km in length and take between 1.25 – 1.45  hours in total with short stops.  Urban rides tend to be shorter than the Harakeke rides.  Good helmet mounted lights are essential for winter riding. \nMay 7 – Araheke mtb park/Harakeke – meet at Wiritoa Rec Reserve\nMay 14 – Urban ride – meet at i-site\nMay 21 – Araheke mtb park/Harakeke\nMay 28 – Urban ride – meet at i-site \nWe have a Whatsapp group for people who regularly ride on a Thursday evening.  If you would like to join it\, please let us  know so we can put you on it.   It is only a means of communication for those who wish to make sure that there will be others on that particular ride\, especially if the weather is looking dicey.  If it is raining\, then it is unlikely that a group ride will go ahead.  \nE-bikes are always welcome but please note that the rides cater for analogue biking (unless specifically stated) and the pace is set accordingly.  The group may be split if there is a big discrepancy in abilities. \nPlease note these rides on your calendar.   \nHope to see you out there.
