DESCRIPTION:Thursday 6 February 2025  \nWhanganui Intermediate School – 90 Dublin Street\, Whanganui \n2pm \nIndividual Events: $20 per rider\, late entries + $5 \nTeam Challenge: $10 per rider\, later entries + $5 \nEntries Close: \nTuesday 4 February 2025 \nLate Entries: Wednesday 5 – 6 February 2025 \nContact: \nCath – cyclocross@nzmg.com \nAdditional Information: \n2025 Information Sheet (PDF) \nAGE MINIMUM: \n30+ at the first day of competition \nAGE GROUPS: \n30 – 44\, 45 – 59\, 60+ \nEVENTS: \n    Team Challenge | 2-4 per team\, minimum laps per rider\n    Social CX Grades + eBikes* | 30 minute\n    Competitive CX Grades* | 40 minute  \n*Depending on entries grades may be split or started in waves. \nPROPOSED EVENT SCHEDULE: \nThe schedule will be finalised closer to the event and is subject to change during the event. No event will start earlier than advertised. \n    2.00pm – Course Open for Warm Up\n    2.30pm – Social CX Grades + eBikes\n    3.00pm – Competitive CX Grades\n    3.40pm – Team CX Challenge\n    4.20pm – Presentations & BBQ \nADDITIONAL INFORMATION: \n    As part of your entry\, you’ll receive your own bike number plate.\n    Bicycles shall be outfitted as per the road code and must have two working brakes\, one front and one rear.\n    Bicycles must be mechanically sound.\n    Dropped or straight handlebars are permitted.\n    Bar ends and aero bars are not permitted.\n    Fixed wheel bicycles are not permitted.\n    Electric Bikes are permitted in the social grade.\n    Mountain bikes\, hybrid bikes\, and single speeds are permitted if they meet the requirements above.\n    NZ Safety approved helmets must be worn and always fastened during warmup\, racing\, and warm down.\n    Depending on entries\, age groups may be split or started in waves.\n    Late entry permitted from Wednesday 5 – Thursday 6 February. Additional fee of $5 applies.
