Frank Oskam is going to lead a ride on his farm this Sunday morning. We will be meeting at 9.15am at the Kaiwhaiki Road turn off (which is about 11 kms out of Whanganui) to park cars and ride around 700 metres along SH 4 to the X-gate (gate that has a large X painted on it). Meeting Frank at 9.30am. Then we’ll be biking along the bottom track until the start of the Nikau valley track, for those not so keen on hills can pop out onto the road to the Gentle Annie lookout, the rest will follow Frank up the valley via moderate hills, the long and picturesque way to meet up again at the lookout. From there it’s downhill to the Pyramid then along the river to Peter and Louise Oskam’s house, where we’ll  go up Tom’s easy track back into RR forest and end up on the middle road back to where we started with a few quick side loops for those that are keen….?
