Hi all

Our usual mid winter destination in the northern Tararua hills inland from Shannon. Start at Mangahao Hydro Station following 4-wheel drive road to the end at the third dam. 17km each way up two moderately steep and long hills, scenic river, dams and native bush. About 3 hours with stops. Optional mid winter river dip at end!!

Meet: Former Kaitoke Hall site, SH3 on Sunday at 11am to share transport. 91km drive. About 1 hour. Bring lunch.
